Stage 3 of the Round Manchester Hiking Trail:  Knutsford to Lymm via Little Bollington

Stage 13 of the Round Manchester Hiking Trail:  Buxton to Macclesfield via Shining Tor

A trail on good tracks, canal towpaths and roads closed to traffic. The trail is around the Anderton Country park and can include visits to the Anderton Boat Lift and the Lion Salt Works.

Stage 2 of the Round Manchester Hiking Trail:  Wilmslow to Knutsford via Giant's Castle

From Teggs Reservoir Carpark, through Macclesfield Forest and on to Lamaload Reservoir. Return via Gritstone Trail and Teggs Nose Visitor Centre.

Attempting to walk the wonderful and diverse British Coastline. Although Chester isn't coastal, it is where the Wales Coastal Path starts, so thought it prudent to end the walk here since I will be walking the rest of it anyway.

Attempting to walk the wonderful and diverse British Coastline.

A good route of 5.7 miles for a medium sized mobility scooter. One short steep section up and down and some farm type gates to open which might be difficult if you are unaccompanied on a scooter.

This is a a fairly easy circular walk through Thursbitch Valley up to Shining Tor - the highest point in Cheshire with spectacular views.
