In this first section of the Dales Way, enjoy a gentle day of riverside walking through pasture and woodland. On entering the grounds of Bolton Abbey, you will cross the threshold into the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

This is a pleasant circular walk through gentle rolling hills of North Yorkshire and returning along the Leeds –Liverpool canal towpath.  The route starts in the village of Gargrave and heads south along the Pennine Way to the village of East Marton before turning to follow the route of the meandering canal and past a number of lock gates, back to Gargrave.   

This one is a real challenge!! Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough peaks all in 12 hours. Come and join the pilgrimage around these 3 stunning peaks in the beautiful county of Yorkshire.

This section of the Dales Way leads you out of Wharfedale, over moors crossing England's watershed to then reach the River Dee, which flows west towards the Irish Sea.

After a riverside walk to the village of Grassington, enjoy a walk over moorland with breathtaking views and along a hillside before rejoining the River Wharfe at Kettlewell.  Follow the river to the little village of Hubberholme.

Day 2 on the Ales and Dales Trail will see you tackle Stage 3 of the Lady Anne's Way and a section of the Herriot Way. This is a classic Dales's walk for the connoisseurs of the wild open countryside or remote moors!

Today sees you leave the charismatic town of Grassington following the second stage of the Dales Way with opportunities to stop at Kettlewell, Starbotton, and Buckden to sample the local ales and fine wines, eventually leading you to the historic White Lion Inn, in Cray.

A short and easy stage through rural countryside following the course of the River Aire between the villages of Gargrave and Malham.

Popularised on Mark Reid's Inn Way Route, this rewarding route over Fleensop Moor lets you see multiple regions of the Dales and is the only walk on the tour that lets you see the eastern region known as Coverdale.
