Located in the heart of the South Downs National Park, this fantastic 7.5 mile circular hike explores the heathland, woodland and farmland of Bignor and the surrounding area. There's a good few hills to climb and a pub in the middle so this would make a great whole day adventure! This is a scenic circular hike taking in views across the Arun Valley as you hike from Springhead Hill in Storrington, through Wepham Wood into the quaint village of Burpham before heading back to the start point via Wepham Down. This circular walk is a great route for Rusper locals or anyone looking to explore the area a bit more. It takes you straight off the beaten track and onto some hidden paths to explore the woodland and farmland Rusper has to offer. It's 5 mile length makes it family friendly but please note there are lots of stiles and fields with livestock so if you're bringing a dog, ensure they're under control. Get out and explore more of the South Downs Way with this circular walk from the Clayton Windmills (Jack and Jill) to Ditchling Beacon and the Chattri Memorial. This is a fairly easy 7 mile route with mostly firm, chalky ground, making this a great walking option all year round. If you check ahead, there’s also a possibility to have a tour around the Jill windmill, which is still operational today and learn a thing or two about how flour was and still is made. This is a fabulous walk (9/10) in the late Spring / early Summer (before it gets overgrown), its a very beautiful and peaceful part of the Sussex countryside. The Wey Arun canal is rather overgrown, but there are volunteers working to preserve and improve it.

This is a long circular route exploring everything Parham Park and Storrington have to offer. Along the way you'll take in the breathtaking views from the South Downs Way, quaint farms and fields around Rackham, the grand Parham Park Estate and possibly get up close with some gliders. It's a fairly long walk and there's loads to see, so it's perfect for those looking for a full-day adventure. A fabulous walk (9/10) across some of the most beautiful Sussex countryside, with great views, varied and interesting meadows, tracks and woodlands. Loads of amazing old Oak and Chestnut trees. Not too hilly and pretty easy walking. Ends with picturesque views of the Cowdray park polo fields & castle ruins.

From the public car park in Steyning this walk takes you out and up onto the downs; along the South Downs Way to Chanctonbury Ring.  Then the route descends the steep escarpment to return along the track running at the foot of the downs through the Wiston Estate.
