As you walk in the untouched nature of Rilla, you are accompanied by an almost constant view of picturesque, sapphire blue lakes that are surrounded by green grass and fresh mountain air.

Hike to the 2290m high Black Peak of the mountain Vitosha near the Bulgarian capital Sofia, one of the biggest mountains near any European capital!

Nice and technically easy hike to Lyulin mountain's highest peak, Dupevitsa, starting from the "Kamping Cherniya kos" bus station (alternatively, from "V.Z. Lyulin" bus station) and ending at Gorna Banya subway station.

First part follows the ridge / backbone of Stara Planina along the Kom - Emine trail and descends towards southeast. At the beginning of the second part the path is somewhat difficult to find and poorly marked so consult your navigation frequently.

Nice and easy hike. Easy to reach by subway or car from Sofia.

Technically easy and super beautiful, starting from and ending at the Gorna Banya subway station. It passes through forests, open fields ("Bonsovi polyani"), Gorna Banya monastery, and the Dupevitsa peak (the highest in the Lyulin mountain). It's amazing in autumn! It's a bit long, but the loop could be shortened, e.g. by just going to the monastery only. Done on 2021-10-29. Technically easy and short hike to Vitosha's highest peak, Cherni vrah (2290m). It starts from and ends at the "Hotel Moreni" bus station of bus 66.
